Ryan Masefield is a seasoned technology professional with over 20 years of experience across telecommunications, fiber optics, audiovisual systems, and integrated security solutions. His career reflects a steady progression from hands-on technical roles into leadership and customer-focused commercial work, giving him a deep understanding of both how systems are built and how customers experience them.
Ryan began his career in telecommunications, spending 10 years as an installer with Cogeco Cable, where he developed a strong foundation in network infrastructure and field operations. He later advanced into outside maintenance and fiber optics roles with Rogers and Shaw, further strengthening his expertise in large-scale network environments and critical infrastructure.
Seeking a new professional challenge, Ryan transitioned into the audiovisual industry, where he expanded both his technical skill set and formal training. During this period, he became a Certified Crestron Installer and spent seven years with Avolution Multimedia, leading installation crews and delivering complex AV solutions. He later joined Convergint Canada in Fredericton, where he was responsible for building and leading the Audio Visual division and earned CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) and Genetec certifications.
Ryan joined QSA and quickly became a key contributor to the company’s growth. Today, as Inside Sales Manager, he plays a central role in customer engagement, solution development, proposal support, and partner relationships. Known for his technical credibility, integrity, and genuine care for both customers and colleagues, Ryan is deeply invested in the success of the business and is a valued member of QSA’s leadership team.
